Star Hopper Privacy Policy
The short version: we collect the minimum needed to make the game work and improve it. No ads, no accounts, no tracking of your child across the web.
Last updated: October 4, 2026
What we collect
- Anonymous gameplay events — which turns were played and answered, hints and retries used, and time spent per turn. These help us see where kids get stuck so we can make the game better.
- A random session ID stored in your browser (it looks like ks_abc123). It lets us count visits without knowing who you are. Clearing your browser data removes it.
- Link source — if you arrive from a link tagged with a source (for example ?utm_source=tiktok), we note which channel brought you, so we know what's working.
- Beta list email — only if you sign up to be notified about upcoming grades. We use it solely for that one notification per grade.
- Payments — grade unlocks are processed by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers.
What we never collect
- No names, email addresses, or contact details (except the optional beta list).
- No precise location, IP addresses, or device identifiers stored with gameplay data.
- No voice recordings — read-aloud uses your device's built-in speech engine, and audio never leaves the device.
- No behavioral advertising and no data sold or shared with advertisers, ever.
Children
Star Hopper is designed to be played without providing any personal information: no accounts to create, no chat, and no user-generated content. A child can play the free turns without giving us anything at all.
Third parties
We use no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics SDKs. The only third party involved is Stripe, which processes payments under its own privacy policy.
Your choices
- Clear your browser's site data for kidspark.info to remove the session ID and saved progress.
- Beta list emails are used only for grade-launch notifications — reply to any message to be removed.
- Questions about this policy? Email us at privacy@kidspark.info.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect, we'll update this page and the date above. Continued use of Star Hopper after changes means you accept the updated policy.
